Our Vision

Owl Be There strives to be the proven partner and trusted advisor for assisted living, memory care, home care, and temporary respite stay referrals. Our senior advisors and franchise owners turn compassion into action, ensuring their senior clients receive care, dignity, kindness, and hope.

What Makes Us Different?

A franchisee owner showing our mission in action by showing wise care difference.

Owl Be There isn’t just a quick-referral-based-on-zip-code type of service. As a franchise owner, you will be part of a team that makes critical and impactful decisions, helping seniors and their families navigate their care options. You will be supported by a comprehensive system designed to help you succeed. Our Senior Living Advisors meet with seniors and their families – sometimes with their doctors, hospital case managers, or other care professionals – to fully assess the client’s healthcare, social, and other unique needs. We build a schedule and tour locations with clients as requested to support clear communication and help ask the important questions. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and training you need to ensure seniors and their families get the wise guidance they deserve.

Our Mission is Supporting You in Following Your Dreams

At Owl Be There, our mission extends beyond providing expert advisory services for seniors and families. We are deeply committed to supporting our franchise owners in achieving their dreams of becoming successful business owners. Here’s how we set you up for success:

Customized Territory Selection

We work closely with you to choose a territory that supports your growth potential. By assessing large and small assisted living communities, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and other senior industry professionals and resources, we identify a robust territory around your home location and network. At Owl Be There, we are dedicated to empowering our franchise owners. Your success is our success, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Unmatched Training and Personalized Ongoing Support

From the moment you join our family of franchise owners, you receive comprehensive hands-on training and support. This includes instruction in senior care options, guidance in business operations, proprietary systems and marketing tools to run your business and network effectively, and opportunities to collaborate with and leverage the experience of your fellow franchise owners. Our operations team is available to pick up the phone whenever you need problem-solving and advice.

”#1 thing for me with Owl Be There is that it’s a mission-based company. When I started learning about the franchise and went through the discovery process, the values of the company immediately aligned with my own values: helping seniors and their families. While in training, it was very helpful to feel like, even though I own the franchise in Charlotte, North Carolina, I am actually part of an entire team that is working together and I get to rely on the entire team. The website is absolutely amazing and first rate and so are the other marketing materials that have been produced for me with our brand image. They all speak to the values that we are compassionate… and also wise. We are a quality company that really does care about the people we are trying to help.”

”It is hard for me to put into words how Owl Be There has changed my life. When I started speaking with David Greenwood about purchasing a home-based franchise I never dreamed how wonderful it would be to own! Not only am I able to work with the gold standard in placement franchises, I had multiple successes in my first month helping families in ways I would not have been able to just doing it on my own. I am a single mom, so it was quite a leap of trust when I took on franchise ownership. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.”

“I had been trying to work myself into a space to serve seniors in my community and exploring how to be an independent business person rather than a franchise owner. I found that experience to be very challenging and confusing, and it was very difficult to put together all the pieces. So, when I was introduced to Owl Be There’s franchise opportunity I was excited to find all the pieces that I had been unable to put together by myself – and yet it included the exact opportunity and the exact type of work I wanted to do to serve seniors in my community. The onboarding and training process has been ideal for me as a hands-on learner and I have enjoyed a lot of interaction with the whole Owl Be There team and other franchise owners. In fact, Owl Be There has been very warm and welcoming to me. I feel like I am becoming part of someone’s family – not part of some business entity.”

“I wanted the flexibility of a home-based business and something with a meaningful purpose. I was also looking for a business that would leverage my background and talents. Owl Be There’s focus on ethics and quality first, and the honesty and integrity of the company culture, were also very attractive. Having a heart for seniors and doing the right thing are key criteria for them, and that rang true for me and what I was looking for.”

“I reviewed a few different Senior Placement Services and found Owl Be There to be the perfect fit for me because of how responsive they are. It was nice to be able to talk directly to the owners.  In addition, they were so flexible in helping me design what my franchise would look like.  Other franchises offered cookie cutter style franchises, but Owl Be There helped me make something custom that fits my vision.”

“The onboarding process has been somewhat challenging, as we are transitioning from a different industry and different roles within those industries. However, it has exceeded our expectations due to the depth of training provided by the skilled and experienced senior advisors. Additionally, the hands-on training from the founders has significantly enriched the experience.”
