Franchisee Spotlight: Meet K.C. Ryerson

Owl Be There is proud to welcome our newest franchise owner, K.C. Ryerson. K.C.’s territory encompasses Frederick, Maryland, and Loudoun counties in Virginia. With her amazing background in senior services, networking strengths, and heart for helping others, Owl Be There looks forward to the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm K.C. will bring to her clients and the Founders’ Circle Franchisee Advisory Council. 

K.C. has over 20 years of healthcare expertise and has focused the last 12 years on senior services. She has experience as an elder care advisor, home healthcare, and assisted living sales. She has also run several assisted living communities. Her understanding and empathy to “relate to where you are coming from” are some of K.C.’s greatest assets. 

K.C. has her financial planning certificate from Georgetown University, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, and an MBA with a concentration in Health Care Management. She’s also a certified Maryland Assisted Living Manager and Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Trainer. She is currently a doctoral student. 

K.C. is a proud single mom of three children, ages 14, 26, and 27. Two of her children have obtained doctorate degrees. Her hobbies include motorcycle riding, hiking, camping, skiing, horseback riding, and gardening.   

She is excited to become an Owl Be There franchise owner because she is passionate about educating seniors and their families to help them understand they always have options. She has helped thousands of families navigate senior care, including her parents. She sees franchise ownership as an opportunity to join an extraordinary team of individuals while giving back to others and helping as many people as possible.
