Meet Our New Franchise Owner: Tony Duvall

Owl Be There is proud to welcome our newest franchise owner, Tony Duvall, to the family! With over 20 years of experience in logistics, Tony is embarking on a new career dedicated to helping seniors and their families navigate the complexities of senior care placement.

“I’m passionate about applying my skills in organization, problem-solving, and compassionate service to improve the quality of life for elderly individuals, ensuring they receive the support and care they need,” Tony shares.

In his free time, Tony enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Nadia, his children, and his dogs. He’s also an avid golfer whenever life permits!

We had the chance to sit down with Tony to learn more about his journey to becoming an Owl Be There franchise owner.

Q&A With Tony Duvall

What were you looking for when you discovered Owl Be There?

“I was looking for a new career path that supported a good work-life balance, as well as being my own boss while doing meaningful work that matched my values.”

What attracted you to the Owl Be There franchise opportunity?

“I liked the opportunity to own a business with an established brand, proven systems, and built-in support. The top-notch training, marketing, and operational resources offered by Owl Be There reduce some of the risks and challenges of starting a business from scratch and on my own.”

“The investigation and discovery process went well. When vetting someone to be a franchisee, it is very important that you pick someone who meets your values and standards. You are trusting them with your baby and want to be thorough in your selection process. That Owl Be There saw me as a fit with their goals and their brand is very encouraging and reassured me that the team will be supporting me as I grow my business.”

What type of person, in your opinion, would be an ideal candidate for an Owl Be There franchise business opportunity?

“The ideal person for an Owl Be There franchise is someone motivated, disciplined, and comfortable following a proven system. They should also have strong communication skills, a willingness to listen and learn, and the ability to invest time and resources to grow the business.”

“I would definitely recommend Owl Be There to someone looking for a business opportunity where they can be successful while making a difference. It also provides the opportunity to be a business owner and set your schedule to make time for your family life.”

“The onboarding process has been good. All of the training and information was presented in an easily digestible manner and not too overwhelming, especially for people coming from different work backgrounds.”

What were the most valuable aspects of onboarding and training?

“I believe every aspect was valuable. Everything that David, Joe, Nadia, and Danny provided was key to providing a great customer experience for seniors and their families, and also key to becoming a successful Owl Be There owner and community leader.”
