Franchisee Spotlight: Meet New Franchise Owner Lynda Krueger

Lynda’s extensive experience in business startup coaching and training lays a solid groundwork for thriving as a business owner. As a senior living advisor, she offers invaluable guidance to seniors and families. However, what truly sets Lynda apart is her compassion, ethical standards, strong leadership abilities, and her earnest desire to improve the lives of senior adults through Owl Be There ownership.
We asked Lynda about her journey and experience in choosing Owl Be There’s senior placement opportunity:
What motivated you to become an Owl Be There franchise owner?
“After having spent a number of years at home raising my kids, I reentered the workforce, only to find myself unfulfilled in the corporate grind. I was looking for a chance to grow my own business while serving the aging population in a way that allowed them and their families to transition into a very important phase of their lives.”
What made Owl Be There unique as you were evaluating your options?
“I reviewed a few different senior placement services and found Owl Be There to be the perfect fit for me because of how responsive they are. It was nice to be able to talk directly to the owners. In addition, they were so flexible in helping me design what my franchise would look like. Other franchises offered cookie-cutter-style franchises, but Owl Be There helped me make something custom that fits my vision.”
In your opinion, what are the qualities of an ideal Owl Be There franchise owner?
“An ideal candidate would be organized, compassionate, motivated, and patient. I believe an added benefit would be someone who has personally dealt with the challenges of an aging loved one.”
Was the discovery process you went through helpful?
“Absolutely! It was seamless. There were lots of opportunities to have a transparent view of what being an Owl Be There franchisee would be like and what to expect. Talking to the other Owl Be There business owners and founders was very encouraging and gave me a good picture of expectations moving forward.
Would you recommend Owl Be There to others?
“Yes, I would. To have the chance to create a flexible, home-based business that provides financial resources to thrive, while also providing such an important service to others, is what the American Dream is all about.”

During her free time, Lynda enjoys visiting her adult children, working out, line dancing, and spending time on or near the water. She recently became a notary public and earned Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
