Patrice has always had a heart for seniors. She intentionally chose to pursue a career in Physical Therapy while in her senior year of high school, filled with excitement to work with seniors. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University in 2008.

Patrice worked in direct patient care for about eight years and then another seven years in the insurance industry assisting in the approval of therapy services. With a desire to return to working directly with seniors and families, she recently decided to leverage her professional and personal experience to build a business in a senior advisory capacity. Owl Be There is excited and grateful that this path brought Patrice to our growing network!

When we asked Patrice about her thought process in choosing Owl Be There, she had some thoughtful and revealing answers. A few of the highlights are below…

What type of new opportunity were you hoping to find when you first learned about Owl Be There?

“When I came across Owl Be There, I was searching for a business that would allow me to interact directly with the people that I was helping. My previous job allowed me to play a part in the approval of medically appropriate therapy services through interactions with providers. However, in order have a more meaningful career and business, I needed to work directly with the people who I was helping.”

What set Owl Be There apart for you as you were evaluating all the options open to you?

“Owl Be There’s discovery process stood out – way above other franchises. I had all the information I needed to make an informed and confident decision. My questions were answered in a timely manner, and the information was always complete. The whole process was very smooth, and I was blown away by how my territory details were provided clearly in charts and graphs.”

What type of person, in your opinion, would be an ideal candidate for an Owl Be There franchise business opportunity?

“In my opinion, the ideal candidate for an Owl Be There franchise opportunity is someone who has a heart for helping seniors, enjoys being around people, is friendly and well organized.”

Would you recommend Owl Be There to others looking for a business opportunity where they can be successful while “making a difference” in their own community?

“I would definitely recommend Owl Be There to others looking for a business opportunity where they can be successful while making a big difference because the Owl Be There opportunity provides just that. This is a valuable service to not only seniors – but to families, social workers, and care providers.”

Patrice and her beautiful family have lived in the Katy, Texas area for more than six years. They love spending time together at home cooking, listening to music, playing board games, and traveling locally and internationally. As they hail from Kenya and the island of Jamaica, those are their favorite places to visit, relax, and rejuvenate.
